Stromlo Forest Anglican College

Spring Fair & Open Day

Saturday 17 October 2026 | 10am – 2pm

Stromlo Forest Anglican College invites the community to its first Spring Fair & Open Day, with food, family fun, live entertainment and a chance to discover Canberra’s newest Anglican school.

The community is invited to celebrate spring at Stromlo Forest Anglican College’s inaugural Spring Fair & Open Day on Saturday 17 October, from 10am to 2pm.

With free entry and something for all ages, the day will bring together College families, friends and the wider community for a celebration filled with food, entertainment and plenty of activities for children.

Younger visitors can meet some furry friends at Maddie’s Mobile Minis Petting Zoo, running from 10am to midday, while face painting, balloon twisting, chalk drawing, bubble play, flower decorating and traditional carnival games will continue throughout the day.

Visitors can browse art and craft stalls, pick up a pre-loved read from the second-hand book stall or something for the garden from the plant stall, and enjoy live music and performances. There will also be a raffle and auction, with support from a range of generous local businesses.

There will be no shortage of food either. Alongside the Parents & Friends barbecue and College bake sale, visitors can choose from coffee, Mexican and Indian cuisine, spiral potatoes, grazing boxes, gelato and fairy floss. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic rug and settle into the dedicated lawn and chill-out area to enjoy the atmosphere.

Importantly, the day is also an opportunity to take a closer look at Stromlo Forest Anglican College itself. Tours of the new College will run throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to explore the facilities, meet members of the leadership team, ask questions and learn more about 2027 enrolments. Tours are free, with no booking required.

You don’t need to have a child at the College to attend. Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy the festivities and discover a new school community taking shape in Canberra’s growing west.
