Karabar Housing Co-operative (KHC) is hosting its second Music Recital and afternoon tea on Sunday 27th April at St Mary in the Valley (SMiV). The aim of this event is to provide crucial funds for the construction of affordable permanent rental accommodation in the Queanbeyan region.

The Music Recital is scheduled to commence at 2:30pm and features the talents of Mr Sam Row. Sam regularly performs solo lunchtime performances at the Wesley Music Centre. He is involved in music theatre productions (‘Joseph and his Techni-Colour Coat’ the latest) and community choirs. In addition, other instrumentalists and choristers will be performing – Mr John Smiles and Mr Gerry Foster on flute accompanied by Ms Bronwyn Roberts, Ms Joanna Davey on clarinet and a Queanbeyan male choir. The event presents a diverse musical program from classical to modern classical to Australian folk music which is sure to appeal to everyone.
