James Flores organ recital in Braidwood

Sunday 15 November 2026 | 3pm – 4:10pm

The Braidwood Concert Series Spring Program final concert of the season will be an organ recital by renowned organist James Flores on Sunday 15 November at 3pm at St Andrew’s Anglican Church.

It will be three years since the historic W.G. Rendall organ was last showcased in a formal recital. Awarded the Governor-General of Australia Medal in 2020 for his contribution to music, Flores has performed extensively both nationally and internationally. Recent engagements include the opening organ recital of the Kristupo Festivalis in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2024 and a choir and organ recital at Auckland Town Hall in 2025. His Braidwood program will feature works by Bach, Buxtehude and Bédard, along with excerpts from Handel’s Water Music, highlighting the range and versatility of this much-loved instrument.
