Have you wanted to delve more deeply into the scriptures in a more considered way and in the company of others without having to tackle lengthy theology assignments?

Education for Ministry, commonly known as EfM, has been running in our Diocese for over 30 years and provides a supportive group learning environment for parishes for those who are keen to take their Christian journey to a deeper level by dedicating time in reading, study and discussion with others.

EfM offers an opportunity to take a closer look at the Old and New Testaments and the current theological perspectives on the texts and enables you the freedom to explore, question, gain insights and deepen in your understanding and refine your own position on what theology means for you. Theological reflections allow connections to be drawn between church traditions, especially scripture, and the experiences, beliefs and culture of the group

If you are interested in joining a group at Holy Covenant Jamison, we meet each week on a Thursday evening from 7:30pm for a time of worship, fellowship, reading and discussion and theological reflection.

We will be holding an information evening on Thursday 14 February at 7:30pm in the Worship Centre and we would love to see anyone who is interested in taking the EfM journey join us to hear a little more about what EfM is all about.

Feel free to contact mentors, Merri Bacon from Holy Covenant, 6251 1110 or and Nich Hills from Christ Church Hawker, 0487 478 767 or for more information.
