Camp Pelican’s campsite, Wambiri, is out of action due to the bushfires in Tathra earlier this year. This means we need to move venues this coming Summer and that brings a significant increase in our costs for camp.
These are costs we simply cannot meet on our own. We need your help to enable our camps to operate this coming summer.
Camp Pelican has a long history (nearly 40 years!) of creating spaces where young people can meet Jesus and hear the Gospel. Every year we have the opportunity to share Jesus with more than 120 young people through our camping ministry who either meet Jesus for the first time or are strengthened and encouraged in their faith.
We’re seeking to raise at least $7,500 to cover the rise in camp costs for food, accommodation, transport and activities for a 5 night/6 day camp and keep prices affordable for campers to attend.
Would you please partner with us through our ‘Sponsor A Camper’ campaign to enable us to run our summer camps? If you would like to give directly you can do so by:

Mark your envelop ‘Camp Pelican’ and place your donation in your church offering.
All support is welcome, including donations from individuals, families and from parishes, as well as anyone who’d like to champion our cause by sharing our need with their parish and organising a fundraising event. A video and support resources are available to help you share our need with your church community and ministry connections. These are available on our website at www.synergy.org.au/support or by contacting Andrew Edwards at email@example.com or 0437 883 122.
If there is anything I can do to help you, please be in touch. Thank you so much for partnering with us to create spaces where children and young people can meet Jesus!
